Do any of you use online group sites for your young people? I work with YP from a group of churches in a district where the ones and twos from each church donīt have time to travel to a central group, so Iīm exploring a virtual community.

Any advice?

Facebook groups donīt seem to work well

We use MSN overr school holidays to keep in touch. Usually itīs done as a quiz - so I ask a question and the first person to reply with the right answer gets the point.

Iīve kind of tried more īspritiaulī things, but its very difficult to have a conversation with more than 3-4 people on a serious topic online.

We find that our facebook group works really well, the key is to promote it!

We use it to remind our young people about events etc but also have alot of discusion boards where they can feedback on some of the LIFE topics we have talked about that week at youth!

It works really well :)
