Flick through a collection of magazines and newspapers together - ask them to bring their favourites too. What forms of beauty do they find? Does the media have a fascination with certain forms/types of beauty?

Using disposable film cameras, digital cameras, camera phones or video cameras go on a beauty hunt together. Give your group a set time period and a set area to explore (the high street, an old church building). Ask them to take 10 photos of things they find beautiful. Then ask them to take 10 photos of things other people may find beautiful. Meet up and discuss their findings, then maybe collate them in a wall chart or book.
